If it looks like rain or other inclement weather will happen on the day of our scheduled session, we will be in touch via email. Often, the forecast changes day to day, so whenever possible we wait to make any final calls for rescheduling until the day of the session. This gives us the most up to date idea of weather patterns!
The sooner the better! Our scheduling fills up quickly - especially during the spring and fall, so reaching out at least 6-8 weeks in advance of your desired date is recommended.
To reserve your date, you'll review our studio menu of offerings, then complete a contract as well as the session fee invoice. Then you're officially official!
Not to worry! I'm always here to assist with outfit coordination. From inspiration resources you can look through for ideas, to custom mood boards that fit your desired color palette and style. You will never be left wondering how to dress your family for portraits!
It is 100% normal to feel a little awkward in front of the camera. I will guide you through natural posing and actions, and before you know it, you'll be a pro!
I'll also let you in on a little secret: kids don't ever sit still. Seriously! And I actually rarely want them to during photos. My tried and true approach is to chat with them, have them playing and enjoying the session - that's when the magic happens!
Within 1 week of your session, you'll receive an email inviting you to schedule your gallery reveal appointment via zoom.
During this appointment you will view a slideshow of your images, followed by a selection process where we will custom design the products that best fit your family. Choose from statement wall art, an heirloom album, fine art prints and more!
Includes:
Pre-session consultation, wardrobe styling/planning for your family, session in Client’s home or outdoor location and design/ordering appointment.
**Digital files, prints, and products are purchased separately, with our most popular a la carte offerings ranging from $699-$1495**
