I have been coming to the DC area more and more for sessions and am loving it! For this DC newborn photography session, we shot in their family home, which was so beautiful with tons of natural light. (Not to mention an incredible view of the city!) I am always so happy to photograph in-home for my families, since it allows us to bring so many personal details to the photographs. Plus, when pups can join in too, it’s just the best!
We started off documenting some family shots in the master bedroom, where their dog could easily join us, and gosh was it precious! Babies and dogs y’all – it’s my absolute favorite!
Afterwards, we of course had to utilize the wonderful view in their living/dining area. The light was incredible, and I think it’s such a fun details to see the city view all around them.
We rounded out baby A’s session with some solo shots, and even swaddled her up when she fell asleep. Once she was awake, we did a little outfit change into a sweet pink ruffle one pice that mama had for her. She must have loved it because she stayed up and had some amazing eye contact with the camera!
