Lifestyle Newborn Session | Farmhouse Style Nursery

I was so thrilled to be able to travel from Maryland, out to Fredericksburg, Virginia to work with this sweet family! Chelsey is also a photographer (check out her work here!) and we had a blast chatting away during baby H’s lifestyle newborn session. This little lady is so loved, and her big sister and big brother did such a phenomenal job during portraits!
Chelsey designed a beautiful farmhouse style nursery for her girl! I absolutely adored the soft neutral tones and pops of pink. So dreamy! I’m pretty sure she has a calling in home design in addition to photography, wouldn’t y’all agree?! I mean, I would totally love for her to design all of the rooms in my home!
Lifestyle newborn sessions are so fun and intimate; I think it’s wonderful to have these memories in the family home. So cozy and natural! We utilized their guest bedroom as well as the nursery, and the light in there was just beautiful. Pair that with those precious little smiles, and tons of snuggles from mama and dad, and I was in photographer heaven!

Wasn’t the light and decor in their guest bedroom just perfect for lifestyle photos?! I loved it. Now, let’s take a peek at that beautiful Farmhouse style nursery!
Totally swoon worthy nursery, right?! Not to mention everyone was such a joy to work with! This was such a fun session, and baby H slept like an angel for the vast majority of the time.
